Switzerland provides number of entertainment spots characterized by the different cities of the country. Nightlife of Zurich and Berne is very popular among night lovers but Geneva has more nightlife than any other city in Switzerland and in its Old Town there are lots of outdoor cafes in the summer. If you stay in a Swiss location, do not worry as there are night clubs, discotheques, cinemas or theatres in most of the towns, cities and holiday resorts. Opening hours vary; some bars open daily from mid-morning, others open early evening and close at 6 am. The minimum age for purchasing alcohol is 18 years and dress is generally smart.
